The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard, which I tasted and reviewed last year right after bottling, has opened up somewhat and displays a dense ruby/purple color, a big, sweet kiss of blueberry and black raspberry fruit, some creamy oak and a floral underpinning as well as some foresty notes. The wine is medium to full-bodied, rich and ripe, with sweet tannin and a long finish. This beauty should drink well for another 15-20 years. 94 points
