Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
October, 2013

Even more compelling is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard, which comes from high on Pritchard Hill at a 1,400 foot elevation. A killer Cabernet, it reveals copious aromas of blueberry liqueur, graphite, blackberry, licorice, incense and forest floor. Full-bodied, long, rich and even more complex and deeper than the Panek Vineyard cuvee, it should drink well for at least two decades. This is a very impressive start-up.

Thomas Brown is the consulting winemaker for these two impressive Cabernet Sauvignon debut releases. Drink: 2013-2033. 95 points.

December, 2011

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine laced with dark blue and black fruit, espresso, mocha and spices, all of which flow together effortlessly. There are tons of depth and sheer richness in this expansive, totally satisfying Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 is shaping up to be a compelling first release from Pulido~Walker. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. This is the first vintage from Pulido~Walker, a new project with vineyards on Pritchard Hill and winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown at the helm. 91-94 points
